What area do you cover?
We deliver courses across the Mid Essex area, this includes Halstead, Braintree, Witham, Chelmsford, South Woodham Ferrers, Maldon, Burnham on Crouch and surrounding areas
How do I book?

You can book your place by following the links in the Course Calendar and completing the booking form. You can also phone or email us and our friendly team will be happy to help you.
If you are new to the college, you will be asked to register with us when you book a course.
You will only need to do this once.
Once you have registered, you can book on to as many courses as you like. Click here to view the courses and calendar.

Is there a cost?

No, Recovery College courses are free to all.

How do I cancel my place?

If you are unable to attend contact the college by email or telephone

Do I need to be referred to attend?
No, you can choose to attend any of the courses that you wish by following the links in the Course Calendar and completing the booking form.
How big are the groups?

We aim to keep group sizes small so that we are able to offer a supportive environment to all. We have a pass or participate ethos so you can choose how much you want to contribute to the group on the day. Our group limit is typically 8 – 10 students. If you have any concerns please contact us before attending

Can I bring a friend or family member with me?

Yes. We are happy for students to attend with a carer, supporter or staff member who supports them. Please note that your supporter must register with the College.

Do I have to take any tests or exams?

No there are no tests or exams. We ask you to complete a feedback form once you have completed your course to help us develop future courses.

I have a disability – can I come to the Recovery College?

The college is open to all and when you register we ask you to identify any specific needs you have so that we can support you to attend the courses. Please get in touch if there is anything that you would like to discuss before you attend a course.
